Feline Spay and Neuter Day Celebration

On the 3rd Tuesday of every month we will be having a feline spay and neuter celebration day. All feline spays and neuters will be at reduced rate to help reduce the feral cat population. This program only requires proof of current rabies vaccination and flea control, otherwise it will be done at the time of the surgery. FELV/FIV testing will be done at a 10% discount. Space is limited to 10 spays a day. Please call early to confirm your space. All surgeries will have comprehensive intra-operative monitoring just like all all of our other surgical procedures.

Dental Month

Dental Month was a tremendous success, we cleaned and polished teeth as well as improved the health of many pets in and around Madison county. Thanks to everyone who had their pet evaluated. In order to continue this successful program we are extending it until the end of March. Please call or come by to get your pets teeth evaluated and schedule a dental cleaning.

Did you know that dental disease can cause kidney and heart problems. The mouth is the gateway to the body, and unfortunately can cause damage to the very organs it is feeding. Regular dental care, just like what you have done on your teeth, is paramount to good health. Caring for your pets teeth can be as easy as giving them a “dental” chew or rinsing their mouth with an anti-bacterial mouth rinse or even scaling and polishing their teeth if needed. Used daily a mouth rinse will decrease the amount of bacteria present in the oral cavity thereby decreasing plaque formation and tartar build up. This ultimately prevents gingivitis and tooth decay as well as the dreaded “doggy breath”.
